What JORDY stands for
AI-powered search
JORDY's built-in AI search understands your person's entire history — not just keywords. Type the way you think, and it will surface what matters across every section.
Search across all sections at once — type "seizure" and find every episode, medication change, and ER visit across all years
Natural language understanding — search "critical illness" and surface a surgery from 2006 even if it wasn't tagged that way
Instant context for new caregivers — share a search link so a new doctor sees exactly what they need

Always working for you
JORDY.care doesn't just store information — it actively works on your family's behalf. Two built-in agents are configured when you create a profile and run continuously, bringing what matters back to you.
Finding a DSP, respite caregiver, day program, or group home for an adult with developmental disabilities is one of the hardest things a family can do. Waitlists are long, registries are buried, and most families give up.
JORDY's Provider Finder agent searches state Medicaid waiver lists, DODD registries, and care networks — filtered specifically for your person's diagnoses, location, and needs. Enter a zip code, get real results.
When you build a profile in JORDY.care, you tell us your person's diagnosis. The Condition Watcher takes that — whatever it is — and monitors the world on their behalf.
PURA syndrome. Down syndrome. Cerebral palsy. Angelman syndrome. Rett syndrome. Rare or common, the agent searches PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, condition-specific foundations, and Orphanet continuously — and cross-references every finding against your person's exact profile: their age, current medications, and history. You only see what's actually relevant to them.
White-glove support
Some families need more than a platform. They need a person. JORDY Concierge pairs you with a dedicated care navigator — a human expert who knows developmental disability systems inside and out — to help you build the profile, run the agents, and act on what they find.
Profile build session
We sit with your family — in person or on video — and build your person's complete profile together. You talk, we capture everything.
Caregiver onboarding
When a new DSP, aide, or family member steps in, we walk them through the profile and answer every question they have.
Appeals & letter drafting
Medicaid denials, prior auth requests, letters of medical necessity. We draft them using your person's profile so nothing important gets left out.
Ongoing monitoring
We run the agents on your behalf, flag renewal deadlines, and surface anything that needs your attention — before it becomes a crisis.

The inspiration
Jordy was born in 1986 in Piqua, Ohio. He has PURA syndrome — a rare genetic condition affecting fewer than 800 known people worldwide. He has navigated seizures, surgeries, and 40 years of medical complexity. And through all of it, he has remained the most joyful person in any room — the one who reaches for your hand, who laughs from somewhere deep, who proves without trying that a life can be full in ways that have nothing to do with what you can or can't do on your own.
His parents have spent those same 40 years becoming the world's foremost experts on him. Everything they know — his full medical history, which routine settles him, what to do the moment a seizure starts — exists right now only in their heads.
A few years ago, his sister sat with their mom to talk about the future. Their mom wasn't panicked. But she was worried about the handoff — about what happens to everything she knows when she's no longer there to say it out loud. They talked about writing it all down. Someone mentioned an Excel spreadsheet, because for families like this one, that's often the best option available. There was no platform built for this.
That conversation became JORDY.care — a living record powered by AI that makes all of it searchable, shareable, and permanent. Built for Jordy. Built for every family that has ever asked the same question.
"I wanted to give my mom peace of mind. Everything she knows about Jordy — 40 years of love and learning — deserves a place that will hold it as carefully as she has."
— Michelle, Jordy's sister and founder of JORDY.care
